St. Albans Nursing Home is situated on the edge of Morecambe Bay, at Knott End-on-Sea. The house was originally built as a Doctors residence and surgery in 1940. In 1985 the house was extended and transformed into a nursing home. The extension is in keeping with the original house running parallel with the Promenade overlooking Morecambe Bay.
The accommodation is on two floors and has been designed with easy access via two staircases and passenger lift. Outside, there is a large patio area for enjoying the sunshine and sea air. There is car parking available at the front and rear of the building.

Because we understand each of our Residents are unique, we specially tailor our facilities and care provision to ensure their comfort and wellbeing during their stay with us. Sometimes it is the little things that make all the difference and we take great care in ensuring we find out what is important to your loved one.
Our Team
We have a diverse, professional care team here at St Albans Nursing Home. All our employees are dedicated to the care of our residents and regularly take part in further professional development training. This is delivered both on-site through St Albans Nursing Home and from external sources.

We believe it is never too late to make new friends and discover a new hobby. Our activity program is designed to provide interaction, interest or even a comforting chat.
The home employs an activities co-ordinator to facilitate activities and outings tailored to the individual’s needs.
